The Delhi police even arrested three players who were said to be playing for the team named Rajasthan Royals. Their names are, Ajit Chandela, Sreesanth and AnkeethChavan. These three were arrested overnight after they were known to be in contact with the bookies. The police even nabbed as well as arrested several other bookies.
It was really a shock to hear that Sreesanth, who is a well known fast bowler. He also played for Team India even in the World Cup. He is said to be a part of a spot-fixing scandal that happened on the cricket field. This cricketer is paid to bowl as well as field differently. He got them done after collecting a huge amount of money from the bookies.
The Supreme Court, later on, forming a panel to investigate this particular scandal. Sreesanth is also not allowed to play cricket in the mainstream for lifelong, as he was proven to be guilty.
