After heavy interrogation process, the high court gave a lifetime ban for all the three players not to play any kind of main stream cricket. This ban did rise up many controversies and the players almost lost their cricket career out of involving in such spot fixing cases. The same kind of case has happened now as the police has arrested three suspected bookies on the last Thursday in Kanpur.
These three bookies were arrested at the Landmark Hotel that is located in Kanpur. It’s the same hotel that hosted up both the teams Gujarat Lions and Delhi Daredevils were staying with.
The recent buzz is that these bookies have given out the names of two Gujarat Lions team players. Who were involved along with them? Once the name comes out again, it’s going to be the biggest controversial incident in the Indian Premier League. As already the league has been facing many such match-fixing and betting related issues in the past.
The police even found about forty lakhs of solid cash at the time. When the police arrested the bookies at the hotel room. Ramesh Kumar, Vikash Chauhan and Ramesh Nayan Shah are the three bookies who were arrested. At present, they are being interrogated by the police about match-fixing the IPL matches.
